Why no syndication to planetmysql? I keep missing this important stuff - I suppose I could subscribe to your feed directly.

As far as backdating, I suspect O'Reilly has attempted to be good with data normalization and the speaker data is centralized in a user table or something - I've noticed the same thing looking back at my old presentations.</description>
